1. Purpose
The Joon AI Parent Coach is an automated, chat-based tool that gives parents tips and ideas for everyday parenting challenges. It is meant to be supportive and educational—not medical, psychological, or legal advice.

2. What the AI Coach Does / Does Not Do

• Offers evidence-informed suggestions on communication, routines, positive discipline, and organization.
• Provides text-based answers, available on demand within the app.
• Learns from your feedback to improve future responses.
Does Not
• Diagnose or treat mental-health or medical conditions.
• Replace therapy, counseling, emergency, or crisis services.
• Guarantee results or specific outcomes.

If you need urgent help or feel unsafe, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

3 Data & Privacy
Conversation logs: Your chats are stored securely and may be reviewed by authorized Joon staff or contractors to improve the AI.
Confidentiality limits: We may disclose information if required by law (e.g., suspected child abuse or an imminent risk of harm).
Security: We use industry-standard encryption, but no system is 100 % secure.

4. Risks & Limitations
The AI can occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Always use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals when needed.
The AI is not monitored 24/7; messages may not receive an immediate response.
Parenting advice can raise difficult emotions or suggest changes that feel challenging. Progress is not guaranteed.
